What types of joints are in our bodies?

We learned about three types of joints in our bodies today. We have ball and socket joints: the hip and the shoulder are examples of this joint. What movements do ball and socket joints allow? The gliding joints: the wrist and ankle are examples of this joint. What movements do gliding joints allow? The hinge joints: the elbow and knee are examples of this joint. What movement is allowed by a hinge joint? There are two types of joints located in the hand. Do you know the two joints?
