In an attempt to reward responsibility in our classroom we started an incentive program. For each day that students have zero late slips, they recieve a tally mark. When they get to five, they are rewarded with a chance to pull something from the treasure chest! Then they get to start the count over.
As an added incentive Mrs. Olson and Mrs. Dupee promise to do cartwheels for the class on days where NO ONE has a late assignment!! We've been practicing and are ready when you are!
Our hopes is that this will give some of our students the little extra nudge they need to take responsibility for transporting and completing their assignments!
