Oral/Slate Assessment for Everyday Math

There are three parts to each Everyday Math Assessment. The first is the oral/slate assessment, the second is the written assessment part A which is summative or should be proficient and the third is the written assessment part B which is formative - or new learning.

Today we had the opportunity of taking our oral/slate assessment for unit 2 on the Senteo clickers. The class was VERY patient while we waited for the system to work properly and then they plugged away.

I was extremely impressed with how well the results came out which are instantaneous - one of the biggest benefits of using the system.

Great job fourth graders! We'll continue to use these fun tools in our classroom throughout the year. :)
