Today, in math, we used flats, longs, and cubes. The flat represented one whole. The longs represented tenths and the cubes represented hundredths. We were making models of numbers using these manipulatives. How would you make 2.37? How would you make 3.7? How do you make 0.9? How do you make 0.54? Then, how do you write each of those decimals as a fraction? We are really getting into exploring decimals!
