This afternoon, we viewed a presentation entitled "The Bystander" as a school assembly. It was a great three-person play that focused on bullying and the three people often involved in a bullying situation (the victim, the bully, and the bystander). The play offered a strategy for the victim of bullying to use to stop the bullying: C (cool down) A (assertive) L (look in the eye) M (mean it). Upon returning to the classroom, we continued an engaging discussion that started last week before the presentation. Ask your child all about this great learning opportunity!
