This afternoon, our buddy classrooms (Mrs. Vogt's kindergarten and Mrs. Czubkowski's fifth grade) helped us make the fleece pillows for the Sojourner Truth House. Thanks to the wonderful help of about 10 parent volunteers, we got a great start and worked really well together to complete about 15 pillows! For the remaining nine pillows, a bunch of eager fourth and fifth graders will stay in for lunch recess tomorrow to finish up tieing the loose ends... literally! :)
