Our Human Skeleton

This week we started our final science unit, The Human Body. This first investigation led us to counting bones. At first, we tried to count the bones in our bodies by feeling through our skin... this count was not too accurate! Next, we used posters to count the bones in the human skeleton... this count was closer! We learned that there are 206 bones in the human body. We talked about how the skeleton provides structure, protection, and movement! We will continue our learning today...
