A GREAT day in Madison!

The big day was finally here... our field trip to Madison to see the Capitol Building and Camp Randall Stadium! We had a wonderful day starting with an early arrival to school to board the buses. We pulled away from Brookfield Elementary at about 8:25 AM and arrived just in time for our 10 AM tour of the Capitol building. We saw the State Supreme Court room, the Senate and Assembly rooms, the Governor's conference room, and the observation deck, too! After eating our lunches on the Capitol grandstaircase, we boarded the buses bound for the home of the University of Wisconsin Badger Football team, Camp Randall. Our tour included the suite seating areas, the football offices, stopping in the visiting team's locker room, and playing on the field! After that full day, we headed back on to the buses... and we were tired out... some sleeping on the bus ride home! :) It was a fantastic day - one we will remember! Thank you to Mrs. Risch and Mrs. Francour for going along with us as our chaperones!
