On Friday morning during Writers Workshop, the students worked cooperatively and creatively in partner groups to rewrite a "not-so-great" paragraph using all they know about good writing. The students had to add adjectives, adverbs, precise nouns, and detailed description! From the parts of these paragraphs that were shared with me, the students made many great improvements! Great work, writers!
